Website analytics (Ignition Engage)

Last updated: June 2026

Our website uses Ignition Engage, a website analytics tool integrated with our customer relationship management system (monday.com). Ignition Engage uses a first-party cookie named ignition_engage_id — a randomly generated identifier with no link to your identity until you take an explicit action. The cookie is set only after you provide consent via our cookie banner. With your consent, Ignition Engage records the pages you visit, links you click, forms you submit, and any custom interactions we have instrumented.

What we collect

  • Page URL, page title and referrer
  • Timestamp of each interaction
  • UTM and click-ID parameters
  • Browser type and version, operating system and version, device type (mobile/desktop/tablet)
  • Country (derived from your IP address — the IP address itself is not stored)
  • Your email address (only if you have provided it to us)

What we do NOT collect

  • Sensitive information (health, sexuality, political opinions, religious beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, criminal record, biometric data)
  • Your full IP address
  • Device fingerprinting data
  • Cross-site browsing behaviour

Where it is stored

On this website (ignitioncg.com.au): When you visit our own site, engagement data is stored in our monday.com workspace, hosted by monday.com Pty Ltd in the Asia-Pacific region (Sydney, Australia). Ignition Consulting Group is the data controller for this data.

When Ignition Engage is installed on a customer's website: Engagement data is stored entirely within that customer's own monday.com account (hosted by monday.com Pty Ltd). The customer is the data controller; Ignition Consulting Group does not retain, store, or have access to that data outside the customer's account. We act only as the software provider.

How long it is kept

Raw activity data is kept for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Aggregated statistics (such as total pages viewed and last visit date) are kept while you remain in our CRM.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Withdraw consent" in our cookie banner or by emailing us at info@ignitioncg.com.au. Withdrawal immediately deletes all engagement data associated with your browser. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

EU & UK visitors

If you access our website from the European Union or the United Kingdom, your data is processed under your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You have the rights described above plus the additional rights under the GDPR, including data portability (export available on request) and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
